The Patriarch Theodoros II of Alexandria, the second senior Patriarch of
the Greek (Eastern) Orthodox Church, who is on a never-ending
Missionary Journey to the entire African Continent, bringing souls to
salvation in Christ regardless of racial
orign, language, sex or social status (most of the African Christians
are poor and with minimal education), welcomes with radiant love, joy,
simplicity and obvious humility Greek pilgrims from the island of
Rhodes, recalling with gratitude how much Greek Christians have helped
the Mission of Orthodoxy in Africa, where the name and fame of Greece is
so deeply respected.
