Yerevan, February 3, - Victims of the Armenian Genocide in Turkey in 1915 to be canonized among the saints of the Armenian Apostolic Church on April 23 in the Echmiadzin Cathedral, the Armenian religious capital.
The day of their commemoration will be also fixed. The ceremony will accomplish at 19:15 which is to symbolize the year of 1915. Then all Armenian churches around the world will hundred times ring the bells, the bell-ringing will be followed by the minute of silence, coordinator of the canonization commission Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan told the journalists.
On April 24, 2015, Armenians of the world will celebrate the hundredth anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Turkey. In 1915, according to different estimations, 1,500 million of Armenians were killed. Turkey denies the fact of the genocide, though some states including Russia recognize it.
