Court of Appeal changed the measure of restraint for
the Archimandrite Ephrem, abbot of the Vatopedi
Monastery on Mount Athos.
He will be released on bail of 300 000 euros, subject to
the prohibition to leave the country and the monastery
Vatopedi. Also he must report to the police regularly.
As reported earlier, from December 28, 2011 Abbot
Vatopedi was imprisoned in Korydallos.
