This is the Russian singing group Buranovskiye Babushki (Buranovo Grannies) that is representing Russia in Eurovision Song Contest 2012.
The six grannies from Buranovo in Russia wanted to take part in the contest to raise enough money for an Orthodox Church to be built in their village. There has not been a church in the village since the former Church was demolished during the Soviet era, they currently worship in a shop that has been converted into a prayer room.
So, if you plan to vote someone tonight, it would be nice to vote for them, if you want, to help them raise money to build a Church at their village!
