From the streets of New York City to the beaches of Rio de Janeiro, from all corners of the globe gathered to usher in 2015 and bid good bye to 2014.
As fireworks lit up night skies, revelers lifted their voices to celebrate the hope and excitement that comes with the fresh start of a new year.
