Billy Graham giving former Pres. Harry S. Truman a
Masonic handshake
Some people believe some photos of Dr. Graham, show him giving Masonic handshakes with fellow Masons, such as former President Truman, known to have been a 33rd degree Mason. Billy Graham denies being a Mason, but is known to have hired a number of Masons into high positions in his Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Billy Graham has written many books and I don't believe any of them tell readers not to join a lodge. If he thinks it's wrong why not have at least a paragraph or two about it?
Although Billy Graham does not admit to being a Mason two Masonic websites list him as being a famous Mason. William M. Watson who was the director of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA), is known to be a Mason. David M. McConnell, also a director of the BGEA, and Arthur Lee Malory, co-chairman of the Billy Graham Crusade Advisory Committee for the St. Louis Crusade in 1973, are also known to be Masons. Billy Graham had Shriners perform as clowns in his 1992 Portland, Oregon crusade.
Here's another Billy Graham quote: "There are the young people upon which the hope of America's future rests and DeMolays (the Masonic boy's group) are part of this group....May God richly bless all DeMolays as they continue their good work." Here's what a famous 33rd degree Mason, former President H. W. Bush, had to say about Billy Graham: "We Bushes have so many wonderful memories and thoughts about Billy Graham. We have admired him from afar ... seen him in our home, in the bosom of our family ... Billy is particularly close to our current president, George W. Bush ... We love him as a brother."
The USA Today claimed that Billy Graham's son Franklin earned in excess of $1 million each year. Billy is said to have a net worth of $25 million, to own several homes, and also a private jet. Please feel free to comment on this article.
