He specified that the cross had been dug into the ground. Nobody saw who did it.
"I am at a loss myself. I do not know who has done this but the idea is good. Strangely enough, it did not occur to us earlier. I hope that now more attention will be given to the problems of the racecourse, since there were so many problems, and repeated attempts to drive the horses away from here. I hope all evil spirits will be forced out," said the agency's spokesman.
Meanwhile, a representative of the Diocese of Perm of the Russian Church reported to the agency that nobody had filed a petition for putting up a cross.
"If there is a desire to erect a worship cross, then it is necessary to address the Diocese. In that case, the Cross would be erected and blessed. But nobody has addressed us concerning the racecourse yet," noted the Church representative.
In the Perm press and blogs there have been many heated discussions regarding the situation surrounding the racecourse that landowners are planning to develop.
