The Chipping Barnet politician visited St Andrew the Apostle Free School in Brunswick Park last week to meet the teachers and pupils.
Headmaster Robert Ahearn and governors guided her around the school, where she listened to a short music recital and sat in during maths, physics and food technology lessons.
She said: “I really enjoyed my tour of the school. It was great to see the students really engaged in the classroom and enjoying their studies.
“It is a very exciting addition to our schools in Barnet and a tremendous achievement for the Orthodox community.
“The school warmly welcomes students from all faiths and backgrounds. I am sure it will go from strength to strength in years to come.”
