The number of Ukrainian refugees who found the shelter in Russia has increased up to 400,000 people. It was announced by the head of the Federal migration service Konstantin Romodanovsky.
“In the border regions is now about 400,000 people,” he said. According to the data, in the last four days the number of refugees has increased from 330,000 to 400,000. The flow of people leaving their homes in Donetsk and Lugansk regions is continually increasing.
Women, children, old people escape from the constant bombing and air attacks. During the special operation of the Kiev authorities many residents of Donbass have lost their relatives. They can not find support in their own country, where they are called separatists and terrorists instead. In order to cross the border, people are spending hours standing at checkpoints. Refugees are being placed in boarding houses and health camps.
They are being provided with all necessary equipment, medical and psychological assistance. Most of those who left Ukraine are now in Rostov region. Every day the boundary of the region is being crossed by about 10,000 people (more like 20,000, from the figures given to begin with – RB). These people need our help.
