Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia has been refused entry to Ukraine.
According to the statement released by the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia was invited to attend the Holy Synod meeting at the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra.
“This visit will be provocative amid Russia’s military aggression in Ukraine. Within the framework of legislation, Ukraine will do everything to prevent this visit in the country, including occupied territories. Such visits may take place after completing Russia’s aggression and de-occupation of Ukraine”, the statement says.
