OCC247 visited the cave of Bethlehem and takes you to the atmosphere of the place where Christ was born, now that Christians are facing the greatest persecution in the Middle East; now that all eyes are focused on the small cave of Bethlehem.
The birth of Christ for each of us has a special significance, because brings its own messages, "those messages that give strength", as they say believers who arrive in the cave of birth, from around the world.
These people, with their personal stories, their own experiences and their own truth arrive in Bethlehem, an important pilgrimage and tourist attraction for visitors to the Holy Land.
Although the dividing wall that encloses the Palestinian territories and the strict control of Israeli soldiers, creates a negative climate, pilgrims wishing to visit Bethlehem without considering the inconvenience.
Their aim is to reach and to worship the place where the Saviour was born. To touch the little star in the manger, that indicates the actual location of birth.
