Remember the Albanian outlaw marijuana village? It's been regained by the Albanian government

 

The Director of the State Police, Artan Didi, declared that the police has full access to Lazarat.

Didi says that the notorious village is under the control of the police, which is acting freely and making an efficient job for preventing the drug planting phenomenon.

Didi underlined that the police has control over Lazarat and other deep areas not only as regards the drug traffic, but also for other crime areas.

“We are inside Lazarat. We enter and make inspections. You have been disinformed and Lazarat has been treated in the media as something extra-territorial, and make us see it that way too. Cannabis is present not only in Lazarat, but also in other rural areas which are under control”, Didi declared.

Didi released these declarations from Korce, where he attended activities organized for raising awareness against domestic violence, a phenomenon that he considered as the main cause of recent domestic crimes.
