We saw it coming from a mile away, didn’t we? The royal family is becoming more ‘Middleton-ized’ than ever, and it’s all because of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The Royalist has a long and in-depth analysis of how Prince William and Kate Middleton are contributing to the royals becoming ‘more middle class than ever’, and how it’s all because Prince William and Kate Middleton are prioritizing Kate’s family over the ROYAL family.
And how exactly is this happening? Well,
Carole Middleton has been prioritized over Prince Charles with
everything from visiting rights, hospital overnight stay, and even
seeing the new royal baby first – and traditionally, all these should
have been given priority to Prince Charles.
Apparently, the British upper class is extremely frustrated and annoyed that Kate Middleton and Prince William are becoming so ‘middle class’ and letting Kate’s ‘middle class’ family have so much access to the royal babies. The way it would work in the ‘olden days’ was that even if the royals/upper class married members of the middle/lower class, it would be the middle or lower class member that would adopt the habits and traditions of the upper class. However, in this particular situation, Prince William seems much more comfortable adopting the Middleton way of life instead of sticking to centuries-old royal traditions and habits.
And yes, Carole Middleton, Michael Middleton, and Pippa Middleton all got to see little baby Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana first, NOT Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, or Camilla Parker-Bowles.
In other words, Prince William and Kate
Middleton don’t give a damn about what the royals or upper-class British
citizens think, and they’re going to continue doing things their way.
What do you guys think about the royal
family becoming increasingly ‘Middleton-ized? Do you think it was
inevitable, or will Prince William be under increasing pressure to
‘revert’ back to the royal way of life? Let us know your thoughts in the
